History:

Located only 15 Kms away from the Kasar Devi Temple in Uttarakhand, it makes for a great place to pursue your spiritual journey.

Kasar Devi, as popularly known, is one of the only three places on this planet under the impact of highly charged geomagnetic fields that come within the Van Allen Belts discovered by NASA. It is widely believed that Swami Vivekananda had undergone intense meditation here in 1890, finding solitude and spiritual depth in one of the mountain’s caves of Kasar.

Kasar has long been a magnet for spiritual seekers and creative minds. Over the years, it has attracted renowned figures such as Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, DH Lawrence, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Danish mystic Alfred Sorensen, Harvard psychologist Timothy Leary, and Lama Anagarika Govinda, a Tibetan Buddhist teacher.

Food
Farm to Fork

A big aspect of our property is the farm to fork experience where the guests are eating food that is produced at the farm or locally sourced. Come join us for a walk where we take you around the farm, make you pick your own veggies and explain you the various ways the ingredients can be used.

Our nourishing dishes will be served during brunch and dinner, with herbal tea available in the morning and evening.

We encourage participants to embrace the practice of 16-hour intermittent fasting, known for its healing benefits and ability to calm the mind, making it easier to enter meditative states.
