4 Day Silent Meditation Retreat in Nainital

This is a silent retreat where you will get the supportive environment to stay silent that will help you declutter your mind.

Summary

During this retreat you will gain clarity about meditation and spirituality, learn how to focus on what is most important in life and learn what to do to handle your mind effectively.

Rather than sharing lots of techniques, our approach focuses on giving an in-depth understanding of the layers of mind, how the mind works, how to do self enquiry to realise your true self, and which of the hundreds of meditation techniques will work for you. Our aim is that you can go beyond theories and philosophy to experience real meditation.

You will learn about the four paths of yoga, which path resonates best with you, and how to apply these practices in your day-to-day life.

Our retreat takes place in the foothills of the Himalayas, where high energy supports the introspection journey and access to higher realms of consciousness. You will get an opportunity not only to meditate in nature, but also to feel the connection with the trees, mountains, birds and pure Himalayan air around.

Description

By not speaking to anyone the silence will gradually enter your mind and mind chatter may gradually subside. This will help you to connect with your inner self.

Although you will be expected to stay silent throughout the retreat, you will have the opportunity to ask questions in written format every evening during Q & A sessions. On the last day during your one to one session with the teacher, you will be free to speak and share whatever you want.

Our approach is not to give you more and more theories, but to help you unlearn any unnecessary information about spirituality and to clear misconceptions and doubts. We share effective ways to experience real meditation in easy-to-understand language that you can apply on your own in your ongoing everyday life.

We cover all four forms of yoga, which are Gyana yoga, Bhakti yoga, Karma yoga and Kriya yoga, so that you can choose which one resonates with you. We try to make it easy for you to understand how to apply these practices in your daily life.

There will be a balance of meditation techniques as well as discourses to clear your doubts and help you experience real meditation.

Please do not expect long sessions of yoga asanas, because our main focus is on meditation, however there will be some mild form of asanas or stretching exercises so that your body can be strengthened and it should not become a hurdle when you start entering deep meditative states.

The best way to experience this retreat is to come with an empty mind without any expectations, and to just be in the presence and pure vibes of the camp. This will help you to experience inner silence.
